It was founded by Jaime, who has spent more than 20 years around home care agencies — a perspective that started with Jaime’s own grandparents, who needed home care as they got older. Watching that process up close, both what worked well and what didn’t, shaped a clear idea of how care should actually feel: personal, attentive, and respectful of the people receiving it.

Having lived in the Austin, Texas region for over a decade, Jaime built True Texas Home Care around a simple standard — treat every client like family, because that’s exactly how care should be. We’re not a large, impersonal agency. We’re small on purpose, so we can actually get to know each client’s routines, preferences, and needs instead of treating care as a checklist.
